However, I'm extremely exhausted and would be a much happier and more fun mommy if you would just sleep all night rather than wake me up multiple times.
I'm sorry. Haley slept through the night early on, but we're paying for it now. She's waking up almost every night, so I feel your pain. I hope he starts sleeping through the night for you soon!
I COMPLETELY feel your pain. Nicholas pretty much always gets up twice each night and the accumulated sleep deprivation is just leaving me really worn out. I feel like I'm always on edge. At this point, I think I'd be a happy mommy if he could even get up just once on a consistent basis. It is exhausting.
Week 19 is a major, major, major mental milestone for babies - it's probably the biggest mental growth spurt they'll ever have.
Many babies start preparing for this between weeks 15 - 17 and it can last anywhere from a week to seven weeks.
It's hard, but I think it makes it easier to deal with when you know it's because they're growing and changing, that they aren't doing it personally just to piss you off.
Re: just STTN already...
Awww, (((hugs)))
I saw your facebook status and wanted there to be a "dislike" button. I'm sorry!
Silly Eli!! I know how it is, Ellie was like that around 4 months too. But he will get there and it will be fabulous! Hang in there!
