For the last hour we've been sitting here trying to figure out if I'm having contractions. Don't ask.
Anyway, he said, "Can you jump on the boards and ask them? They're pretty knowledgeable...ask 'em!"

(For the record, I'm not even going to ask. I'm convinced these are NOT real contractions.)
Re: DH gets it! Finally!
Dude.
My sister-in-law was convinced (despite my fervent opposition) that she wasn't having contractions one evening while we were watching a Colts game. Every time she'd shift uncomfortably and adjust herself in the seat, I'd glance at the clock. They went from a half hour, to fifteen minutes to eight minutes apart. As I was leaving their house, I told her I'd see them at the hospital the next day.
Sure enough, my brother called me at six o'clock the next morning, telling me that I had a nephew on the way.
Two o'clock, Coop arrived.
Just sayin'...
There is SUCH a fine line, I feel, between being informed about typical signs and knowing that every woman is different. Some say "you just know", others say they had no idea.
I don't want to constantly be all "Is this it?" but I don't want to ignore my body, either. UGH.
I'm going to laugh a week from now when I have a baby and think how obvious the signs were.
I seriously cannot believe you're due, like, tomorrow. What?!
SO exciting.
I. KNOW.
What? Huh?!
I'm actually a little sad because this whole time we've looked forward to THIS DAY, June 17. And it's here (almost) and I'm positive we're not having a baby yet. Such a tease. All this time and anticipation only to be disappointed. In the grand scheme of life, no biggie - NDbaby will be here very very soon, but I wish I would have assumed a later date from earlier on.
Sorry, vent over.

They were...and I guess still are, but what had been consistently 8 min. apart or so has turned into sometimes 6, sometimes 16. And the back to 8. I think I'm done timing and headed to bed.
I'd say rest up! You never know what tomorrow may bring!
I'm sure it's a little disheartening to think she might not come tomorrow, but you're right - she'll be here so soon!
