When DC is around another child(ren)...say you know the mom well and she is there. What do you do when the kids start taking toys from each other or fighting over a particular toy (not hitting just fussing getting mad at each other). Do you costantly tell DC to give it back "little Timmy" was playing with it?

I have a good friend with twins and we hang all the time. We have just learned to let the kids handle. Otherwise we would constantly be telling a child to share, give it back etc.... Don't get me wrong if needed we would intervene, we wouldn't let them get by with hittiing or pinching or anything major.

I do the same that you do (especially if we hung out a lot together). I let the children work it out on their own, unless it gets out of hand, then I intervene.
