TTC after 35

just call me Crabby Smurf

Sorry I've been MIA for a bit....been really crabby and down in the dumps...think it may be the BCP's making me slightly hormonal.

Good news is my "big box o'meds" was delivered on Saturday...holy cow there's a lot of needles!  The ones for the PIO actually made me get teary! now of course my DH is wishing someone else could give it to me...he's a sweetie!  Thank goodness for my prescription coverage too...didn't cost nearly as much as I thought it would...good thing since I don't think my insur will cover but a fraction of the actual IVF.

Re: just call me Crabby Smurf

  • Sorry you have been cranky Char. I bet it is the BCPs.  I know they made me crabby when I first when on them (a long, long time ago).  Glad your insurance covered most of the meds. I know they can really add up fast.

Sorry the BCPs are making you crabby, they do the same to me. Congratulations on the arrival of your "big box o'meds". I agree, PIO needles are very, very scary. I was hyperventilating the first time I had to do them myself, but it wasn't that bad. Good luck, Char!!

  • Hi Char!  Those BCPs are such a pain in the rear.  I'm glad you're back, and I'm thinking good thoughts for you with the shots and everything else.

BTW - I got a compliment yesterday for wearing one of my cardigans!
