how long was your LP? I have just started keeping track of my cycles again in preparation for TTC in late-July, and it seems that my LP is shorter than it used to be (now 11-12 days instead of 14 days). I'm wondering whether this will impact how long it takes to get pg with #2... we only have a two-month window, and I'm trying to set reasonable expectations (doesn't help that we were very lucky and got pg with DS on our first try).
Mommy to Seth (4) and Catherine Anne (13 mo.)
Excited to welcome a third child in March of 2013!
Re: if you got pg while BFing and charting...
I wasn't charting but was still BFing. I had only got one AF before getting my BFP. I'm pretty sure based on when I finally got a positive pg test and dating from my first u/s that I ovulated a week later than I typically did pre-DD. I used to get AF around CD28 and O around CD 14 (I was very average). But this time I was getting BFN between CD 25 and CD35. I didn't get a BFP until CD35. So as my dr. had indicated would probably happen, my cycles were still pretty much all over the place since I was BFing.
If you have only a 2 mo window, I would just have sex frequently over a 2 week period (if you're not already) in case your cycles are still screwy. Plus, if you're charting, you should have a pretty good idea of what's going on. Good luck.
