update on cryo--so not good

so i just got a call from my nurse with the sperm freeze results. it was bad. there was one motile sperm, and that was it, in the entire sample. they didn't freeze it obviously. i'm just surprised cause with our last SA the urologist estimated 100 motile sperm. she has to talk to my re to see if he wants us to try and give one more sample (which i'd like to do) or just schedule the TESE for the day of my retrieval. i'm so upset. i just want to go home and cry. IF sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm sitting here at my desk, tears in my eyes, trying hard not to bawl. it is so disheartening cause at every turn of the way we have had bad news.
i haven't told dh yet...i'd rather do it in person cause i know he'll be upset. plus, i need to get my own emotions in check cause if he sees how upset i am it will only make him feel worse.

That's probably a good idea. I'm so sorry. I know this must be hard on you and him. Is he ok with doing the TESE?

yes, he is okay with doing the TESE, which is good, but i just know it is going to make him feel so much worse...he feels bad enough about this as it is.
