Please talk me off the ledge

Ok...So I'm exclusively nursing and for about 2 months after the baby was born I was't getting a  period.  Now I am...even though I'm still nursing.  I made the mistake of not making DH use a condom...Yes I know, spare me the guilt trip.  I was an idiot. 

I have an appointment to get Mirena in 2 weeks.  Obviously DH won't be touching me for the next two weeks...it's too early for a pregnancy test.  Should I cancel my appointment?  I've had it since before the baby was bornand I don't wan to wait another 4 months. The chances are slim right? OMG I feel like such a moron.

    Keep the appt.  When you are bfing your periods can be erratic.  Don't they have to do a pg test before they put the mirena in?

    well if you were ovulating, you could know by blood test in 2 weeks. keep your appt and let them know what happened. i think this happens more than you think!

    My OBGYN made me take a pregnancy test in the office before they put it in.  I think that is pretty standard so don't cancel.
