Daycare moms- Are you close enough to your child's teacher..

that you would feel sad/nervous about telling her you're taking your child to another daycare?

Maybe it's because we're at a small home daycare but I'm dreading telling our provider that DS will be leaving in August. He's been with her for almost 2 years and they're very close. I'm very pleased with everything he has learned and done there.

She doesn't have room for the new baby and I've found another home daycare closer to our house that can take them both. I considered keeping DS where he is but taking two kids to the new place will be cheaper and it's just more convenient.

We just decided last night but have been discussing this since last week. Hoping that by next week I'll work up the nerve to tell her!

yes...and I would probably cry (or make DH do it!)

DH keeps saying to let him do it!

But I'd still have to talk to her afterwards and it still would not be an easy conversation. Aahhh!

Yes it would be hard for me but I'd do the same if B's place didn't have room for both.
