I am supposed to go see No Doubt Saturday night.  I bought the tickets months ago.  Orignally it was supposed to be my son and I but then he asked if he could go with his friends.  He is almost 17 so I totally understand wanting to go with your friends instead of your mom.

But, I've been trying to find someone to go with.  All of my friends either don't like the band, have no money, or are busy that night. 

DH said he would go if I couldn't find anyone but it's the exact opposite of his type of music and I know he would be a lump during the show just waiting for it to end.

I'm just so bummed!  I was really looking forward to this!

Well, since you already paid for the ticket take one of your friends and treat them. At least you get to go, and don't lose the money for 2 tickets.
