ok my contractions are 5mins apart now and painful, I took my procardia at 8 and terb at 7 how long do I wait for them to kick in before just going to the hospital?

Please tell me that you went to the hospital or at the very least called. Contractions 5 minutes apart aren't anything to play around with

I am ok I didnt go I got them back up to 7-8minutes and went to sleep. woke up this morning in a bad one but took my meds and they are somewhat under control again, I posted an update for someone on high risk.

I really dont know what I am waiting for exactly but I will call my doctor today, and soon.

last 4 went 12 12 6 10.

UPDATE

I rescheduled my wednesday appointment to today and turns out NO CHANGE, thank god! I am still 2.5cm and 80% effaced.

So now I guess I am looking for steady contractions under 5 minutes and if I get to 6 minutes apart I will stay home, unless the pain gets extreme I guess. He said to use my best judgement.
