What to go with Cael?

I'm 31w and have been shooting down every boy name that H has thrown at me since we started TTC again 2 yrs ago.

H threw out Cael and Reid. I like them together- it's the only name so far that I can actually picture myself naming this kid. He doesn't like the two one-syllable names.

 Any suggestions? At this rate, 3.0 will be old enough to pick his own name before I can come up w/anything!

Kale, Cael is just the traditional spelling

I'd seen the name, just never knew how it was said! I'd go with two or three syllables... I like Donovan and Julian as MNs for Cael.

I don't like Cael at all. It is out there so I think a traditional name would sound good as a middle name that way he could go by his middle name if he doesn't like Cael.

I like Cael, nice irish name. I guess it would depend on whether you wanted a traditional middle name or not.

A friend of mine had a boy and named him Cael Jason.  I think it sounds nice together.

what's your last initial/ how many syllables?

if it's more than 1 syllable it would sound fine although i prefer the spellings cale and reed (maybe not together though, as one is a fish and the other is a plant that grows in water).

cael just looks kind of made up to me.

 Actually I was thinking more along the lines of cabbage, or artichoke, but thanks.

 Last name starts with a T, is a long two syllable name.

The only Cael I knew pronounced it "Cal," and I like it. 

I think someone's suggestions, Donovan, is a great mn for Cael.

Our DS is Cale Benjamin, named after BIL. But our LN is one syllable, so we def needed a 3-syl MN to break it up.

I like Rhys too, but H won't go for it. I'm honestly surprised he liked Cael, let alone suggested it!!

I honestly can't get past the fact that it sounds like a cruciferous veggie.  Reid is far better, IMO.
