Indiana Babies

I'm *that* girl.

This weekend, we have...

..."reset the clock" (I hate that phrase) three times this weekend already, more than the entire 2nd and 3rd trimesters combined until now.

...walked roughly 5 miles

...eaten lots of homemade salsa with jalapenos galore and cajun shrimp on the grill

Trying to go into labor, much? :) Pedi is tomorrow at 9:00! Pressure points, here I come! Tell me you're not jealousE of this:

Relax and dream away in a big soft leather chair, while our experts work from your toes to your knees. We will soak & massage your feet and legs for the ultimate enjoyment and stimulation. Beginning with a deep cleansing, exhilarating sea soak, the dead, calloused skin is exfoliated and removed, leaving feet and legs baby soft. The nails and cuticles are then meticulously groomed, smoothed and shaped to compliment your toes. An intense, nourishing mask is applied and your feet soak up precious moisture while you relax. Therapeutic massage is then performed to leave your feet and legs rejuvenated, full of health and energy. Plus, the addition of a sea salt scrub, for a deeper more hydrating moisturizing exfoliation and a cucumber heel therapy treatment after the massage for dry cracked heals.

  • Have you tried raspberry leaf tea, or fresh pineapple yet?  ;)  I think my sister tried all the things that supposedt bring on labour!

    Pedi sounds heavenly!

  • Loading the player...
  • Forgot about pineapple - there's a whole one sitting on my counter right now!

  • They can't spell, but it does sound heavenly! ;)

    I think that since I got a pre-IUI pedi, I will also need a 2WW pedi...

Maybe you should also get a massage, just to hit some more pressure points. That would be the ONLY reason, of course.

Evidently I can't spell either, because I don't see any errors! Ha! :)

I was going to book a pregnancy massage but they don't have any openings until the 24th...booo!

  • You're pregnant, you're allowed. ;)

(I think it was compliment should be complement, and heal should be heel.)

I think they should make a special exception for you, since you won't be pregnant by the 24th...

  • teehee she must be extra cozy in there :-)

Ahhh, yes. A classic case of me stopping reading before I get to the last word. And those damn homonyms! ;)

  • I was similar - even got a pedicure to try and help things along as well.

I delivered at 41w2d.  Stubborn kiddo!

Will your OB strip your membranes?  I think that's what finally sent me into labor, but I ended up w/ pitocin and then a c/s because of Jackson being sunny side up.

  • Those last days are sooooo rough!!  I tried all the old wives tales too--eating pineapple, eggplant parm., walking till my feet were going to fall off, etc.  Then I gave up on everything which sent me into labor...haha!  It will come soon enough.  Rest up and pamper yourself while you have the chance!
