Has anyone tried the new Luvs from Walmart?

I read somewhere that Walmart dropped its former private label brand, White Cloud, and that now Luvs is making a line of diapers just for them. Are they just as good as the Luvs I can buy everywhere else or are they different?

Re: Has anyone tried the new Luvs from Walmart?

  • I didn't know there was a difference. I just bought my first pack and I have never used Luvs before so I can't compare. But they seem to be pretty good. THey are VERY thin but they have kept everything in.

  • I thought the Walmart brand was Parent's Choice? Because that's what we use if I don't have any Luvs coupons. I was at Walmart yesterday, but the diapers all seemed the same?

  • I got an email from Luvs stating that exact thing. I can't remember what the exact difference is though. I plan on buying a pack today, so hopefully they work just as great! We often bought White Cloud, so I was disappointed when they did away with those.

We have always bought the regular Luvs.  They are the only diapers that DS does not leak through.  I will have to check the new ones out at Walmart, especially if they are cheaper.

  • Smallest Luvs pack is like $7.47. Used to be $7.98. So I buy those, or the Parents Choice, which are like $5.37.

I hadn't heard of the wm thing either.

i just paid 13.99 for the big boxes (the ones with 80 some diapers) vs 18.99 for Pampers with 60 something diapers.

we used luvs before, but dd was in between their sizes and we used pampers 3s for awhile.

i love luvs. they save a lot of money on diapers and i've never had a blowout or leak. they hold a LOT.

  • Hmm, I've found that Target is sometimes just as cheaper or cheaper than Wal-mart so I hardly go to Walmart to get anything.

I perfer the Luvs diapers to all others besides Pampers but since they are so similar I go with the cheaper.

I've tried Huggies, Costco, Target up and up, and parents choice.  Luv's are the softest and aren't "crunchy" like the others.

?Yeah I refuse to go into WalMart, but I might go for the diapers if they are a few bucks cheaper, which they might be now, depending on the diaper count. ?Target just raised the price of their big box of Luvs from $15.99 to $17.49! ?BUT the diaper count used to be 90 and now it is 104 for size 3.
