This is why MIL drives me batsh#t crazy

DH took our 3 y.o. DS to see a movie today for some father-son bonding time. DH travels a lot for work, so it was good for them to get some time alone. While they were out MIL called our house (I wasn't home), DH's cell phone (he didn't answer), my cell phone (I told her they were at a movie), DH's cell phone AGAIN 2 times when she already knew they were in a movie.?

What was so urgent?

She needed help re-arranging her furniture. WTF? I truly don't understand this woman.?

    Sounds like my MIL from hell.  Anything involving her is more important than what you are doing at any given moment.  I hate her.

    That's exactly the attitude she had. She didn't care what they were doing, because it was SO urgent that she get her furniture rearranged. I can't imagine that mindset, I really can't. ?

    I feel ya. My MIL does this even when she needs absolutely NOTHING.  She will keep calling all of our numbers until she gets someone.  Or... if DH is talking to her and tells her he will call her back in a while, if he doesn't, she will call us back.  She is CRAZY like that.  And if it was important, it would be one thing, but it's that she is bored and just wants to talk on the phone.

    Get. A. Life.
