crackers for baby?

So I was reading and found out that I could start offering crackers to DS. I was just wondering what type to use. I know a lot of people use Ritz, but they are way too salty, even for me. Everything I see at the store says they're made for toddlers. Anyone have some suggestions?

  • Grahams, animal crackers, low sodium Ritz, Annie's bunnies, Tyler liked some of the whole grain ones too, can't remember the brand though.

  • when DS was that little I offered him toast a lot in lieu of crackers. I was also in the UK at the time so all the brands I know (and LOVE) are not available here. But I think HappyBaby makes an organic puff that is similar in size to cheerios now.

We started with Baby MumMum. ?They have them in organic too. ?DD actually still loves them. ?
  • Ritz taste awesome but they are really oily and salty.

We do Annies - there are cheddar bunnies, wheat crackers, and a bunch of others.  The health food stores usually have a decent selection.
