Indiana Babies

Do you like either of these?

Since we're not finding out Baby H's sex I'm looking for neutural bedding. Is the first one too boyish? I like the 2nd the best, but it's about $150 more than the first.

OK, I give up the pictures won't work:

Re: Do you like either of these?

  • The 2nd one is NMS but I loooove the argyle.  I think I'd like it even more if it didn't look like the argyle pattern had thrown up all over the room.  Seriously who would want all that matching stuff!

I think it could be boyish or girlie depending on how you accessorized.

  • I totally agree with the argyle vomit everywhere. I would only order the bedding set and possibly the changing pad cover

  • Oh I loooove that 3rd one too.  I think that looks a little more gender neutral than the argyle.
  • love the 3rd one too!  muchas!
  • Definitely the third one you posted!!
  • yes the third is now my favorite as well.

    Ditto!

I have a pet peeve with crib bedding catalog photos. It *always* looks like the pattern threw up everywhere. So annoying.

To be honest, though, if I had to do it all over again I would not get a bedding set. I would find a cute crib skirt and get solid sheets. No bumper, no blanket. I think I wasted money by getting a set, even though I got mine on ebay for cheap.

I ended up buying 5-6 solid colored crib sheets anyway, we're not using the bumper, the blanket is fine for a play blanket, and we didn't need any of the other stuff. Just my .02!

I don't think a blanket is really needed until the kiddo is big enough to start covering him/herself up.

  • Well, and the kinds of blankets that usually come with crib bedding sets are the thick comforter-type. I don't think I'd ever put that in a crib anyway. I'd be happier with a quilt or a softer, more form-fitting blanket if that makes sense.
