TTC after 35

RPL Results

Apparently, I have a 2 out of 3 MTHFR mutation and decreased Protein S activity. ?Can anyone shed some light on this???

My doctor put me on mega supplements of B6, B12 and folic acid, my usual prenatal vitamin, and one baby aspirin daily. ?I'll use a progesterone suppository as well once I'm KU'd.

It's all a little overwhelming, but my doc was pretty positive overall. ?

I'm sorry, Brosis. I don't have any experience with MTHFR, but I know there are some ladies on TTTC that can help you. I see posts about it every once in a while. I think a few of them have moved onto SAIF. It's good to hear that your doc was positive.?

  • I have MTHFR, though I was diagnosed before I got pregnant don't knwo if I am hertrozygous or homozygous.  I went to a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist for a preconcention appt and that's how I found out.  Now that I'm pregnant I have another appt with her on Tuesday and can certainly let you know what she says.  Your protocol right nwo sounds good to me.  I am on mega B, and baby asprin and I eat a ton of greens to get extra folic acid.  You may want to get in contact with a Maternal Fetal Medicine Dr. in your area.  Good luck.  If you'd liek to, please feel free to PM me next week after I've had my appt.

  • I don't know anything about MTHFR, but I have seen lots of ladies on these boards who have gone on to have successful pregnancies once they were diagnosed and treated! ?Wishing you only the very best!
