At the US yesterday she was estimated at being 7lbs 6oz (slightly above normal but still well within range). I know there's room for error but that seems pretty big for still having 2+ weeks left! (no comments from the peanut gallery.... )
Mia was 8lbs 4oz and she seemed huge to me. Anything over 8lbs should really be illegal.
Re: I think I'm in for another big baby
LMAO well, if you go like sometime right after (or before) the party, you may be just under 8 lbs!
DD - 8.6
DS - 9.7
Me - 5ft tall. Wasn't pretty. LOL
Liam is 5!
Yikes! 9.7?!?!? Maybe I shouldn't have been so hell-bent on having a vag birth after all...
Yeah. NICU called him "the big guy". He was 3x the size of their usual patients. They had to rob diapers & clothes from the regular mother/baby unit LOL
Pretty sure the only reason I didn't fully go into labor was that he was just too farking big. I could feel him drop down, felt damn near like I had to push, and then I could feel him float right back up again. He couldn't engage, which meant I never got past 1.5cm and fully effaced, even with all the contrax I was having. Worked out for the best though, considering the little twerp went & ate his own poo in utero. Freaking boys.
me: 9 lb 0oz
brother: 8 lb 14
sister #1: 10 lb 7.5 oz (overdue with no epi)
sister #2: 8 lb 11 oz
And dh was 9 lb 0 oz too. Somehow M was right under 8 lbs but she was a week early.

Oy! Your poor mom! Both of our families make big babies too. I'm pretty certain both me, my sister and my DH were all over 8lbs.
That's why I am glad I had c/sections.
DS was 10 lb, and DD was 8 lb 10 oz. She seemed like such a peanut after DS.
DS - December 2006
DD - December 2008
Boys are so disgusting. I could see DS doing this!
She? Are you having another girl!? How exciting
Who knows? Maybe she will come early. I delivered Emilia at 37w3d. Just saw your ticker...Get ready!
OMG NO NO NO NO NO!!!! I know it's possible (bag has been packed for a few weeks now even) but I still want at least another week so I can relax between work/baby! After the 21st would be preferable...
Plus Mia's 3rd Bday party is this weekend.
I can tell you that 1 pound did make a difference.... Ethan was 8-14 and J was 7-15 (10 days early, can't imagine if he was full term or 7 days over like Ethan), and it was easier to push out an almost 8-lb'er than an almost 9 lb'er....
Good luck
