Creepy guy friend request on FB

There's a guy who I was a coworker with in college - he was always pretty creepy, but because we worked with each other, we got along just fine.  We never hung out socially.  He's requested to be my friend on facebook about three times.  I ignore him each time.  I'm pretty picky with who knows my personal stuff on FB, and lets face it, there are some people I don't want to reconnect with.  Sorry if that sounds elitist - or whatever.

What the heck do I do about this guy?

I'd just keep ignoring. ?It's a pain but sooner or later he'll get the message. ?

And the repeated friend requests just underlie his creepiness. ?Ick.?

I agree with pp.  Keep ignoring it.  Eventually he will figure out that you don't want to get in touch!

You can block him. I guess he already knows you are on FB, but I had people I really didn't want to be friends with and I blocked them, it's like you drop off the face of the world, or well Face Book, it's in the settings. You just type there name and or email address. I have lots of peple blocked. They can't see you at all, even if you comment on a mutual friends page.

If you don't actually click ignore or deny or whatever it is (i forget!) - but just leave it hanging - he can't try to friend you again.

If you keep hitting "ignore" he can keep requesting you. ?If you just let it sit there and do nothing, then he cannot re-request you

This is the one thing I hate about facebook.  Just ignore him (or leave him hanging as PP suggested) or block him....you aren't required to share your personal life with everyone.
