most everything we have is autodebited from our account, so not really an issue for us.  But other things, I usually take care of and consult with him.  If something ever happened to one of us (God forbid) I'd want us both to be aware and able to handle the finances.

me, I do it all, my husband has never seemed interested,  Every now and then he will ask how much we have in savings and then goes on his merry way.

We have seperate accounts.  We have our own cc's aswell.  I pay my bills, cc, student loans, car payment, used to pay child care until she was old enough.  He pays his bills, plus car insurance, rent, utilities, most of the food unless I have enough to get some.  I pay our cell phone bill.  For the most part he pays for going out.  But he has always made about 3x what I made.  I'm pretty anal about my check book and my bills getting paid.  First thing in the morning on payday that is what you'll find me doing.  Paying all the bills that are due out of that paycheck, with my excel spreadsheet.  Love it! lol  He pays as things are due and also uses bill pay.  I worry that things can get forgotten that way, but it's his process and it works for him.  There is NO WAY we could share an account.  I'm just way to anal to have someone else in control(or lack there of) of it. lol
