omg!  so sorry to hear this.  I'd be devastated.  Babies are pretty reslilient though - and she won't even remember that this happened to her.  Good luck over the next 6 weeks

Oh, wow, that sounds rough on you.

FWIW, I had a cast like that when I was a baby for months, and I can't remember a thing, so chances are your DD will be just fine.

I am so sorry that this happened to you.  Please tell DH that accidents happen.  I am a newborn nursery nurse and I walked away from my child on the changing table when he was 3 months old to "grab something real quick" and that was the moment he decided to roll over for the first time.  I was devastated but accidents do happen.  It must be so hard to see your daughter in a full body cast, but she will have no memory of this and she will catch up quickly I'm sure!  So sorry that happened:-(
