Hi, I wanted to introduce myself and see if you ladies have any advice for my first appointment. I am 31 years old and we have been TTC since May of 08 and have been off of BCP since March of 07.
Welcome to the board. I don't have any advice but maybe tell us some more about your history-- have you been getting a regular period? And BFPs that led to a loss? Any ideas of what might be going on?

We have no idea what is going on. I have regular period usually around day 28-29. No losses.
I had an unltrsound and MRI early this year for a pain I was having in my lower left pelvic area but according to my PCP and OB there was nothing there to be concerned with. The pain comes and goes but I feel like it is usually there during the time I should ovulate.
typically the first appt is a lot of the RE doing the talking. They'll ask about your medical and reproductive history (def mention the pelvic pain), and ditto for your DH. They may do a quick internal u/s (mine did), and will likely schedule testing based on where you are in your cycle. At that point everyone will have a better idea of what you're dealing with, and you can discuss options.
The pelvic pain could be a host of things, so the RE may focus on that.
Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN. FET #4 BFP after removing bilateral hydrosalpinx and 3 months of lupron depot. Sticky Bun is here!!
