I've had it with my DH and this Facebook application, King of the World. I don't know if any of you or any of your DH's play it, but he is obsessed. Let me just also point out that he has this type of personality. He gave up his last obsession, the game Civilization right before ds was born, because he knew it would interfere with his bonding with his son, not to mention our very active daughter.
Fast forward to 1 month after DS was born, and he replaces that old addiction with a new one, this King of the World game. He is always on this game. Not only that, but a requirement of the game is that you are on the game chat for an hour every single day. DH is a lawyer and works long hours. The result is that he only gets to spend about an hour with the kids before they go to bed every day, and that hour is being used up by the game. I've tried talking with him about it but it doesn't make any difference. Now he's actually admitted to me that he plays the game at work, too, and I'm getting worried about his job.
To make matters worse, the computer he plays the game on is my work laptop. I work from home, and my work specifically states in the contract for giving me this computer that it is for "limited" personal use. So even with the nest, I limit my time on here to about 15 minutes a day. I think I'm finally at the point where I need to block Facebook.
Re: Can someone tell me how to block Facebook from my computer???

I am wondering how to block the Nest, Knot, and Bump at home. I am an addict myself.
Hopefully DH will figure it out before I get home.
Good luck.
My SO is pretty crazy about Mafia Wars, but he mostly plays from his phone I think, and plays it on my FB to.
Can you change your password on your work laptop so he can't get on it at all anymore? Just tell him you are worried about getting in trouble at work.
Good luck!
In Internet Explorer go to Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Sites
Enter the url and click Block
You will have to enter each site.
It really just blocks the cookies for the site, but he might not mess with your work computer - you could say that your IT department changed the security on your PC or something.
