what do you think of your iphone?

i can upgrade to one pretty cheaply right now.  so it becoming more affordable has me thinking abt. it for DH for father's day.  but there is of course that extra monthly fee tagged on to my cell bill-worth it or not is what i'm wondering?

Dh has wanted one for the last two years and I've resisted. I totally couldn't get over paying that much for a phone (we've always been the free cheapie phone with a contract kind of folk.) This year our contract ran out right at the same time that we got a big tax refund, so I finally caved in, let dh switch us to AT&T and got us both iPhones.

Let me just say, they have been worth every single penny. I love, love, love my iPhone. My only regret is that I was so darned stubborn and we waited two full years to get them.

Love it, DH made me get it when they first came out because he thought it would be great for having pics of DS with me to show friends family. I resisted but he got it for me anyway.

Love it.  I had a smartphne before and was already paying for a data plan, so the upgrade was really not that much for me.  Can't imagine going back to anything else.

My H, who HATES cell phones, loves his.  His work bought and pays for it.  He says it's the best phone he's ever had.

Looks like most people here love their iphones! I have to say though, I know a lot of people irl who have issues with their screens breaking and lots also who don't like touchscreen keyboards (I personally hate them). I think if yo have never had a "regular" keyboard before though, you won't care as much.

LOVE mine!

I have small grievances like no video camera and receiving multimedia messages are a pain but supposedly those fixes are on the way.

Otherwise, it's the one thing I'd save in a fire (besides my DH/kids of course...)

I Love it.  I resisted for a long time too.  DH had one, and I finally played with it oene day.  That night I went and got one.

Supposedly all those little things Viva mentioned are to be upgraded on the 17th.
