My brother was transferred out of ICU today to a smaller hospital. Its so much better for him since my mom is a board member there and can pull major strings if she needs. He'll get great care and have lots of familiar faces around him.
The only problem is that he thinks he should be much better than he actually is and is pretty frustrated by it. They caught him trying to crawl to the bathroom this afternoon (he's nowhere strong enough to even stand yet). So, someone is going to have to be with him nearly 24/7 so he doesn't inadvertantly hurt himself (hence my mom pulling major strings and getting him a bigger room so she or my other bro can stay the night).
I'm so relieved! Hopefully it'll be smooth sailing from here on out.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts/prayers/well wishes. It means more than you know.

Ideas on Teaching Your Toddler/Preschooler at Home
I've made so many posts... but long story short, he was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Wegener's Granulomatosis in late April and went from a sinus infection to pnemonia to hemmorhaging lungs to pulmonary embolisms to worse hemmorhaging lungs to on a ventilator in a drug induced coma. And lots of complications in between. All this over less than 6wks. Its been a rollercoaster ride, for sure.
