We got the Hampton Pointe drop side crib from Young America. It came in about 4 weeks and was in great shape. It was also really easy to put together. We think it is so beautiful and can't wait to put the rest of the nursery together. One of the nice things about them is that, except for the cribs, their furniture is made in America. The quality seems really high to us. The people that helped us at two different baby stores raved about their quality and led us away from Munire, even though Munire was more expensive and got the highest reviews in Baby Bargains. They said they get a lot of damages with Munire and a lot of the other brands, but hardly any with Stanley. Hope this helps!
We have the MyHaven collection for DD and I love it. It is such nice quality furniture that she will be able to use for many many years. I think it is definitely worth it to spend a little extra right now (if you can) because in the long run it will save you more b/c you won't have to buy multiple furniture sets.
We have the Surfer's Chase built to grow and love it. It's big, but very sturdy and (IMO) gorgeous! Didn't take DH long to put it together, seriously built like a rock.
The store we bought from prepared us for it to take 12 weeks to arrive and it took about 6. I personally think it's expensive, but I also think it is worth it.
Of course, I'm still pg, so we haven't used it yet. We'll see if my opinion changes any once the tot comes.
We have the four seasons collection for my son...the built to grow crib, double dresser, changing station, bookcase and nook and cranny chest. I love it. I think it's great...especially the changing station that goes on top....such a small item, but so useful. ?I am expecting again and would like to do another brand of furniture (just to change it up), but i'm having a difficult time b/c i can't find a line that has a changing station that's as good as that. ?I don't want to do a separate changing table, and i don't like the ones where you just put the changing pad under a hutch...i don't think it's too practical. Bottom line, i was very impressed with stanley and will probably go end up going with it again! Good luck!
We actually have YA furniture in our bedroom! We have a small room and when we were shopping for furniture, everything was too big I love it though- it's definitely very well made, not like a lot of furniture they have out these days. It's more expensive, but worth it in my opinion because I think it will last for a while.
