I have googled this everyway I can think to phrase the question, and also looked through the FF faq's on BBT and can't find the answer. In your experience is 1 glass of wine enough to affect BBT? If not, how much does it take for you to check the "drinking" box on FF?
I had an almost + OPK (I know almost doesn't count) yesterday and this morning was much lighter. Then I had a glass of wine last night and saw a .3 degree shift this morning. So either I missed my LH surge by a few hours or I'm not really O'ing and the temp the wine's fault.
I know you guys can't tell me if I'm about to ovulate
, but I'm curious as to how alcohol affects everyone's charts...
TIA
Re: How much alcohol does it take to affect your BBT?
For me personal, I have to be sh!t faced when I go to bed in order to see a big temp change. If you look at my current chart, the temp that is WAY higher then the others, that was after a night of heavy drinking.
Otherwise, If I only get a buzz or only have 2 glasses of wine, I see no change.
That changes person to person though.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Good point.... Maybe I'll have a drinking experiment! Increase the # of drinks by 1 each day and see how it affects my temp! jk, kinda
This. And normally if I'm having more than 3 drinks I'm staying up later but temping at the same time so I check "sleep deprived."
