Initials AVS?

Can anyone think of anything bad with the initials AVS?

I can't, but I'm just trying to make sure I'm not missing something obvious!!! 

The only thing I can think of is that it's one letter away from Avis (like the car rental place), but that's hardly something awful.

First and middle would be Abigail Virginia.

Are you afraid of your kid getting picked on?  Kids are mean, and they will find something to make fun of no matter what.  If you worry about the initials for that reason, you will also need to worry about gender, hair color, height, weight, stutter or lisp, and a million other things.  If you have a name you like, just go with it.  Unless it's spelled wrong.  Kids whose parents make up spellings will probably get made fun of for having dumb parents.

But to answer your question, nothing comes to mind with the initials AVS.

I know this :-)  I'm just trying to make sure I'm not missing something obvious, like thinking Abigail Stephanie Smith is a pretty name and not realizing that every time she writes out her initials she'll be spelling the word a$$!

This happened to us. We wanted to name DS Austin Scott... our last name starts with S. We realized it in time, thank God!

I get why you're posting. Sometimes there are associations with names that people don't know or realize and it can be useful to post here. Like, say a name you pick that also happens to be the name of a huge porn star. LOL

The hockey team in Colorado is the Avalanche nn the Avs - but that's not a bad thing.  Nothing else comes to mind.  Sweet name!
