My kids are sick ALL the time. I just don't know what to do anymore. Sam was sick again last Thursday and Friday with a fever and vomitting and Max was sick Sat and Sun. Before that, they were sick two weeks ago. They have been getting sick at least once a month, but 90% of the time its been twice a month each all winter and spring. Not just a runny nose and cough either. Usually they have a fever and vomitting.
We have an appt with the doctor this morning for what is supposed to be Max's 9 month well visit. I'm going to ask (and vent) there, but seriously, do you think this is normal or could it be something more? I am beyond frustrated and feel like I am doing something wrong!

I hope its normal, or at least on the high end of normal, but my God, it sucks!!!
Are they in Childcare? Or are you a SAHM?
I know my sisters son is sick quite a lot and my brothers DD and they are both in daycare. It is very common and I wouldn't worry too much about it.
My kids don't get a huge amount of contact with other kids so are rarely sick. Thank God.
Definitely say it to your doctor though. I hope all is ok.

Too busy to update the pics for now ...
That's the thing-I SAH. We go to a playgroup maybe once a week or everyother week and beyond that, they aren't around other kids that much. I also bf DS#2, so that supposed benefit isn't true here either.
I'd listen to your instincts on this one. It could be normal or they could have some kind of immune system thing going on. It isn't uncommon for small kids to get sick once every 4-6 weeks. But DD got what we thought was the "stomach virus" every month, then every other week, then we found out it was celiac disease.
I'd talk to the pedi but if you're not noticing anything else out of the ordinary, it is probably nothing.
