Homemade toddler musical instruments!

Make your own. I got the idea while we were out shopping yesterday.

You know those left over plastic easter eggs that open up and you can stick stuff in? Put uncooked rice in it and glue it shut and TAH DAH, instant percussion instrument for your toddler.

You can also put rice in old medicine bottles. Another good one is take a toilet paper tube and put wax paper over it and secure it with a rubberband. They can beat on it, or blow over the other end for a tuba effect.
