Seriously, my nieghborhood is WEIRD!!!!!

So, we were setting up for Taylor's party when our neighbor came up and said "happy birthday!  Are you having a party?"  SO we were polite, DH said "yeah." they chatted a minute or two and he left...then when the party started, he walks up with his 9 year old daughter who has a gift....she gives it to Taylor who says thanks...and so DH, being polite again says "she can stay if she wants.

First of all, my girls never play with this girl...she's 4 years older than Taylor and I'm not even kidding (this is mean and probably flameworthy) the girl is WEIRD!!!  She constantly acts like a dog.  She is just weird...and her dad told DH one day when they were outside how she doesnt' have any friends because she's aggressive and burned through all her friends at school.

So her dad leaves her and DH and I are like "ok...whatever."  The oldest kid we invited was 5.

This neighbor girl picked on all the kids...she acted weird....and she complained about EVERYTHING. "I only like Taco pizza, why didn't you get THAT kind?"  "Isn't there anything to drink at this party??"  etc...just rude.

Who does that though??? Who invites their kid to a nieghbor's birthday party????

    That sucks.  Not okay of that parent at all.  maybe we know where she gets her poor social skills!

    Not really a flame, I agree its totally weird but maybe her parents know she is weird and are just desperate for her to play and have fun with other kids. Its really hard to have a kid with no friends.

    I agree with preemie mom. It sounds like a sad situation. She;s nine and acts like a dog? More sad than weird....

    Oh, I know...but all the other kids parents stayed as well....maybe they should have stayed and TOLD their DD how to behave...she definately needs some help and direction.

    Oh, and then her dog got out of their gate....so I said "Hey, S...is that your dog??"  she said "Yes!  That naughty dog!" and ran over and I'm not kidding, she smacked the crap out of the dog....she hit his face a good 10 + times...and smacked his rear hard several times.
