Would it be bad parenting to let him swim with a fever?

DS had a 103.5 fever last night. No other symptoms except a bit tired.?

?He now is dancing between 101 & 99 all day.?

The sun is actually shining, we have been inside for days due to bad weather & contractors being here.

He wants to go swimming

The cool water would help with the fever right ???

He is VERY active in the pool so this will not be a relaxing activity for him ?

Is it your own pool? I mean no other kids? Then I would let him swim.

Yes it is in our backyard, but I guess we are not using it today

Sleep is probably the best thing for him if he is coming down with something. Plus, breaktime for you
