Cranky and unmotivated today

DH is gone all day at a game, so I'm with the kids all day and I'm just feeling cranky and unmotivated to do anything with them.

I have errands to run, but that's no fun for any of us.  I also have several cleaning tasks to do, and I've done 1, but I just can't muster the motivation to tackle the rest.  Of course, I don't feel like trekking to the zoo or even the local playground today either.  I just don't have the energy after going strong all week to do it AGAIN for another day.

Right now we're watching Curious George.  The movie.  And I wish to GAWD that DS would stop talking and just watch the movie. 

I'm going for that MOTY award today ladies.  So watch out!

When we have days like that, I keep everyone in their pjs and put sleeping bags on the floor and tell the kids it is pajama party day.  They eat popcorn, color, read, etc all on their sleeping bags.

(((Hugs))) I would only do what I absolutely have to and just take it easy otherwise. If it's one of those days where you let him (and yourself) veg in front of the tv for more than normal so be it. I had those days when I was staying home ... it gets tiring. Maybe your dh will get back at a reasonable hour to give you a break.

Oh, and we watched our CG movie so much it's scratched up and skips. ;-) I need to buy a new one.

Me too.  I had grand plans  and now that we're up, I want to do nothing. 

 

I really should stay home and clean my disaster of a house, but that's hard with them here.

that was me yesterday!

I was even annoyed when we finally went outside to play and the neighbor kids came straggling over-- I just didn't want to deal with anymore kids!!?

That was me, yesterday.  Of course, it could easily be me again today, but I have to deal with everything I didn't do yesterday...I don't even want to try and remember how many hours the television was on.

That is me today too! I'm so exhausted, I think my sleep deprivation has caught up to me from the week.  Plus it is like 50 degrees out & cloudy, suppose to rain all day. We are watching cartoons & coloring.  Can't wait for naptime!

I'm with ya!  Ellie woke up more than usual last night, and then I couldn't sleep even when she did (the glass of wine I had before bed didn't help for some reason--drat!).  When DH left for work this a.m., I begged him to take the girls along and let me just sleep all day, but for some strange reason he thought that wouldn't go over well with his bosses.  I even offered to let him take the boobs along for Ellie, but nooooooo.  Fine.  We're having a movie day, too, then!
