There have definitely been long stretches of time when I could say yes to that question. Sometimes life provides enough stress that you just don't ever get "in the mood" and it helps to relax with a glass of wine.
So, if you're finding entertainment in someone elses stress, you're just a hateful wench.
Now, you're just completely making stuff up.
1) I have a stressful job much of the time. Sex is a great stress relief. Sometimes, I may have to start to get in the mood, but there's never been a "stretch of time" that I couldn't get in the mood without drinking.
2) Lyse didn't say that she sometimes needs a glass of wine to get in the mood. She said she doesn't like sex unless she's drunk. Surely you see a difference.
Why did I go from angry mob to go away? Well, I will share with you.
I thought it was more complicated than a third grade "she said, she said" argument. Seems like your problems are:
1. You don't like Lyse's siggy. Fine, whatever. To each their own. And you think the BWIC is lame. Cool. Got it. Not gonna start a "board war" in defense of my opinion because it is my opinion. Express yours elsewhere.
2. You think that Lyse is lame because a year ago she supposedly said she needs a few drinks to enjoy sex. Alright, no matter how lame/funny/outrageous you all seem to think this confession is, I love Lyse, and I am not going to laugh at her misfortune. If you want to, whatever, but not here. Go back to your own board for that one- it is not snarky, but cruel to laugh at another's misfortune.
Frankly, I thought it would be more than this drama. You are accusing Lyse of something she admits to saying, though you differ on the wording. You don't like a badge. Get over it already.
Excuse me if you don't stir me into a frenzy. GTFO now please.
Please tell me what you thought would happen. I'm guessing something like this:
"You are mean douches. Don't make fun of Lyse."
"Ok, you're right. We're sorry."
BTW, only a couple of people disliked Lyse. Several liked her. Most just found her dull and didn't pay much attention. It just became kind of funny that after 2 years of posting over there regularly and actively participating in the "douchery," she comes over here to whine about a comment about her.
BTW, only a couple of people disliked Lyse.? Several liked her. Most just found her dull and didn't pay much attention.? It just became kind of funny that after 2 years of posting over there regularly and actively participating in the "douchery," she comes over here to whine about a comment about her.
She is, in fact, actively participating in douchery right this very moment. ?
I am still waiting for you ladies to find the post so you can quote me, since you think you got it 100% dead on.
I didn't whine, I thought it was funny. It doesn't matter what I say though, it will be interpretted as defensive, whiney, argumentative. I'm not even going to bother.
I
agree it did seem a little strange that the internet strangers told
Salsa to break up with her bf, and she did. Just like that.
My hubby told me he wants to get me drunk this weekend at my
grandma's 80th b-day party so I would be as much fun when we got home,
as I was after the wedding last weekend. I usually only agree to have
sex when I'm drunk. I'm a bad wifey.
The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
