I know it's a long shot, since I never heard of it until I found out I had it, but if you know anything about it can you let me know? I have a question.
have you googled mary shomon? she's a thyroid "expert" (I don't think that she's an actual expert- or dr., but she compiles a LOT of good info, and has some good books.)
My cousin has it, but I know very little about it, so I'm sure I can't answer your question. I have hypothyroidism, but it's just your regular run of the mill hypothyroidism.

yeah, me too.
I don't notice it much anymore since Ive been on synthroid for years.
if I forget to take it for a couple of days, which I do for some reason...I notice that my whole body hurts really badly. THEN I remember to take it!
My question is, I seem to be having a huge issue with something they call "air hunger". I have done a load of research on it, and it seems alot of people with this have it. Basically, at times I feel like I can't get a deep breath. I have to literally try to breath deep. It feels like something is stuck in my throat (which is probably my really swollen thyroid) and the air can't get passed that point. It is making me crazy, and I am wondering if there is anything I can do to make it go way.
