opinions on our name

We're having a girl, and have picked Grace as the first name. For the middle name, I want to combine my mother and MIL's names, but we had a hard time coming up with something good.

What do you think of Grace Kaylen?

The only thing is that Kaylee is my neice's name. But, since this is a middle name and she will go by Grace, I'm thinking that probably doesn't matter. 

Thoughts?

I like it. And I wouldn't worry about your niece's name and LO's middle name...no biggie

I like it!  I say go for it!  If you're worried you could ask her mom her thoughts about you using a similar name, but I don't see where she should have a problem.

DD's middle name is Kaylin and my cousin named her baby Kylyn a few weeks later.  Noone even noticed.

Usually I can't stand combined names (ala Renesmee), but I think Kaylen works nicely

Lol, my first thought was, "please don't tell me the combined name is Renesmee!" I like Kaylen, though, and I don't think it matters if it is similar to the neice. It's a middle name, so no one will even notice, I bet.

I love it. I think it is fine with your niece's name. If it was Kaylen Grace, I think it would be too close.

I don't think it matters about your niece but I don't really think it sounds good in that order, Kaylen Grace would, and then that would be too similar. What are the two names you are working with?
