s/o Gymboree - how young can you start?

when did you start and how do you & your LO like it?

DH is looking for things to do during the day and i think this would be a good activity on a regular basis. He can hopefully meet some stay at home dads (and moms too!) from the area too.

We started mommy and me classes at 12 weeks. ?

You can start at around 4 months old.  I took Liev a couple of times at that point but stopped going because he was the only baby in Level 1.  The whole point of going to Gymboree was for the both of us to socialize with other mothers and babies and that wasn't happening.  He enjoyed it as much as a 4 month old can.

I was told they had more babies in Level 2 but he couldn't move up because he couldn't sit.

we did a free class at 2 months--not worth it, he fell asleep. We just started again and are in the 6-10 class even though hes nto quite 6 mos yet. Its a great class and fun for this age I think, before that its not worth it imo

we started gymboree at 4 months with #1.  i'll wait until 9-10 months with #2 though.  level 1 and level 2 are boring!
