baby shower question

Hello ladies,

I was wondering if you thought that a baby shower at 3pm on a Sunday is too late in the day.

My girlfriends are throwing me a shower on July 27th, and I completely forgot and have signed up for my birthing class that weekend which gets over at 2, so I would be home by 3.  I just don't know if that's too late for people.....

I think it would be fine.  What else are people doing on Sunday afternoons???   Do it like afternoon tea!

Sounds good to me too. I just went to a shower a few weeks ago at 3pm and it was great!

Mine was on a Sunday at 3 and I thought it was perfect.  It gave enough time for those that went to chuch that morning to get home unwind and change and also for little ones if they are attending to of had a nap.  Mine had finger foods and of course cake and everyone seemed to pretty satisfied and was still able to go home and have dinner with their family.
