Who is working up until birth?

My due date is Thursday, August 6th and I'm planning to work until Friday July 31st.  My issue isn't with paid maternity leave (though my parents will pay me) but that our business isn't doing so well and I don't want to stop working until the last minute.

Since I work for my family business, I'm planning on bringing my son to work with me for the first 6 months or so. I  hope to go back to work about 8 weeks after having him.

Today is my due date and since there was no baby, I went in to school (I am a teacher). ?I'm planning on going in tomorrow also if nothing happens tonight....although I'm hoping the baby decides to come!! ?I would rather the days on the other end of my maternity leave, which is why I am still going to work.
