I need a new suit coat.  I have always wanted a 3/4 length jacket, but the 'sensible' part of me says that I won't be able to wear it year round.

Which do you like better?

3/4 length

Or regular?

Love the first one!  Even if you can't wear it year round you'll still be able to wear it for a good part of the year.

3/4 length sleeves drive me nuts. I always end up pushing them up or trying to pull them down.

I don't like suits with shorter sleeves.

I definitely like the 3/4 sleeve better.

I like the style of the first one better, but to me, the sleeves don't look 3/4, they just look too short.  I would probably hem them up a bit.

Depends on how much of an investment piece you want it to be. If you are spending a lot and want to be able to wear it for years, get full lenth. If you are looking for something for just the next year or so I would go 3/4. I have a few 3/4 length jackets (not suit jackets, though) and I love them.

I like he first as a more fashionable, non-suit environment.  It looks more business casual.

 the 2nd one looks like a suit for a more upscale place.
