MN for Malachi

We are toying with Malachi for a boy, but don't know what MN to use.  Our first DS is Nathaniel James, so those 2 are out.

I was going to suggest James, but that's your first son's mn.  I love it for a mn.  A friend of mine is looking at Malachi for a boy.  It's so different, yet such a nice name.

Does Malachi Daniel work, or is it too close to Nathaniel?

I think as a mn name, Daniel is fine.  It's not like you'll always be calling them by their first and mn.  Yell their names out the backdoor together "Nathaniel James and Malachi Daniel" and see how it comes out.  Insert any mn there.  Usually the only time people are called by their first and mn is when they are in trouble.
