Lurking around the bump I have noticed that most women who are already expecting know what the sex of the baby will be. DH and I have planned to keep it a surprise, at least for the first one. ?I'm just curious if we are the only two people around that don't want to find out the sex of the baby when we are able to conceive.
Me 29 I DH 28

Re: Poll: sex of baby
I always thought I wanted to be surprised, but DH says NO WAY and I don't think I could stand it if he knew and I didn't!
My parents never knew for my sister and I, and I've always thought it's pretty romantic to be surprised
?
We plan on finding out but keeping it just between DH and I until the baby is born.
That way there will be surprise for our family, but I just couldn't handle not knowing!

I love surprises too much, I don't want to know until the delivery room!
We plan on keeping it a surprise

We will be counting down the days until the Big US. There is no way we could wait. We found out with DS and will continue to do so. To each their own!
There is no way we could wait. Everyone in our families would want to know as soon as we went to the doctor to find out!

This is how it is for us. I want to wait, but I'm not in that position yet so maybe I'll change my mind when the time comes.

There are very few times in life that truly allow surprises. I'm not going to find out.
We didn't find out and I'm so glad we didn't. My favorite memory is when my DH said "It's a boy!".
I ended up with a c/s so I was really upset about it and freaked out and then he said that and it all went away. Awesomeness to the extreme.
Oh, and I *never* thought I could wait to find out. We even had the u/s tech write it down and seal it in an envelope because I thought I could convince DH to want to know. He never did and I'm glad I waited.
Love it.
I've seen more deliveries than I can count, and that "It's a ..." moment is so huge. There are so few surprises in life. We're hoping we can make it so that when we DO finally get our BFN, we'll be team green too. I want that moment in the Delivery Room.
