Diaper Recommendation for Newborn Boys

I just had a baby boy.  I also have a 2 1/2 year old girl.  With my DD we swore by Pampers but with the boy, he seems to be peeing right through the diapers and I'm not sure where because he's not even a week old.  Maybe Pampers aren't the right fit.  Can you tell me what you use for your boys babies?

1. ?make sure his penis is aimed down - if he's leaking out the waistband, that's likely the reason

2. try going up a size if you like the pampers, see if that helps.

3. my kids were/are shaped really differently, so even if they were both girls, they'd be in diff diapers. ?Swaddlers & cruisers fit my DD's fat thighs & belly well. ?Swaddlers & luvs fit DS better. ?

We used Pampers Swaddlers until Carter was 7 months old.  He was on the small side and they came  in size 1s and size 2s.  I was so sad when he had to go into size 3s.

I liked Huggies newborn for ds -he leaked through Pampers newborns too (Huggies newborn are a little bigger than pampers newborns).  We switched to Pampers once he was in size 1-2, and he was fine.

Swaddlers worked well for my son.  Sadly he outgrew them at 8 weeks and now he's in size 3 cruisers.  So, I'd say pampers work well for him.

Pampers have worked great for both my kids (girl and boy).  Just make sure the unit is pointing down!

We use pampers. ?I've noticed he get more diaper rashes in Huggies but I think its his skin. ?

Peeing through them or up out of them? If its up out of them, then be sure to tuck his penis pointing down. If he is soaking through them then maybe its time to go up a size.

I used huggies supremes with DS, they were the best and ended up being the only ones that didn't cause him to break out into a rash.

ANy diaper worked for us, as long as the weenie pointed south.
