Hi!  I just wanted to check in and see if there was an update with your mom and the job situation.  I have been thinking about it non stop and wonder how the surprise visit from the big wigs yesterday.   I hope she gets taken care of!

Well Toyota knows whats going on and did a mini audit yesterday (on my mom's job-warranty admin) which came back flawless. Apparently they are planning a surpise major audit for either Thurs or Friday or possibly Monday. We're hoping monday because we will be on our cruise and they will be screwed without her help.

Anyhow apparently they have been investigating the main guy in this for the last several months and have been building a case against him specifically. Sounds like the minor offenders may be off the hook as far as prosecution goes. The result of this audit could mean thousands to hundreds of thousands being charged back to the dealership eccentially shutting it down and putting everyone out of a job.

I passed on all the info you ladies shared and gave her some numbers for employement lawyers but apparently she is teaming up with her CW and they decided to wait it out. Not what I would do but its her decision. In the meantime she is keeping detailed notes.

I should get a good update tonight she's coming over for dinner!

Ok good!   Thanks for the update and it sounds like she is doing as well as she can.  I'll continue to keep her in my prayers.  Poor thing doesn't deserve all this.   We need more people like her in the world advocating on behalf of what is right - and innocent customers.
