me and my finance settled on the name aiden if its a boy but he wants to use his first name for the babies middle name which is justin... is Aiden Justin too repetitive? it sounds a little funny to me
I think it's fine. A little repetitive, but no biggie. I'm sure you know how popular Aiden and its variations are. That doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. I like the name a lot. But, his name will most likely rhyme with half the class (zayden, braden, caden, etc..).
Sorry, but I don't think it sounds good at all! Also, Aiden with all of its spellings is the #1 most popular boys name in America right now! Plus, add in all the Braydens, Jaydens, etc. and I would think that would be enough to avoid that name completely.
to me it sounds too rhyme-y. also, the whole aidan/ jaden/ caden trend is slowing down, just as long as you're ok with a name that is popular and may someday be like tiffany is now, i say go for it.

I think it's too repetitive. Also, I agree about the popularity issue. I didn't do my research when I gave the go ahead and said yes to the DH wanting to name our son Kaden. Had I known the popularity outcome I would have chosen almost anything else. That's just me though, it may not bother you at all.
yeah... i'm not a fan of the aiDEN jusTIN. someone earlier today had a similar issue and i said i didn't like it then either. i'd keep looking for a first name. you have plenty of time! good luck.

I love Aidan. It's a very old Celtic name, and the fact that it's common isn't important IMO (it's not different than John, James, Matthew, Ethan, or any of the other hundreds of popular boy names). I don't think it goes well with Justin though. Definitely too rhyme-y.
Re: too repetitive??
I think it's a little repetitive...but I think you really would hardly ever say them together that often to notice. I like both of the names!
Aiden's lost its charm for me.
