clomid: when do I take robitussin/mucinex?

clomid ladies: can any of you tell me  when and in what dosage you took robitussin or mucinex to thin your CM? i saw my RE this morning and he said that he doesn't believe in that stuff but that it couldn't hurt, and i want to do everything i can! thanks for any info.

I took generic guafenisin (sp?) pills. One a day for the first week of my cycle, 2 a day until ovulation. And I drank a lot of fluids, particularly green tea.

I was told 2 tablets a day of guaifenesin (Mucinex) until O is confirmed. FYI, I found it at the dollar store. It was $16 at the drug store.

i took maximum strength mucinex (1200mg, i think) starting the day after i finished my last pill through 2-3 days past trigger.
