saving FMU

So I am looking to test tomorrow or Thurs depending on how my temps look.  I don't want to test in the morning because it would be too hard to contain my emotions, regardless of the outcome, at work.  I read on peeonastick.com that you can save your FMU to test later in the day.  Has anyone done this?  gotten a BFP?  Not sure if I'm better off doing this, holding it for 4 hours or both.

I remember someone here saying they stuck it in the fridge.  IDK what the outcome was though.

Google says you can stick it in the fridge but less than 7 hours and let it warm to room temp first.

Would you be able to wait and test this weekend so you won't have to worry about crazy emotions from testing in the morning.

I just couln't see myself putting my urine in the fridge all day. Plus, if you put it in your home fridge, you probably wouldn't be home in time to accurately use it after working all day.... unless you came home during your lunch break... or put it in a cooler with an ice pack and took to work.

Just seems like a lot of trouble to pull it off. Plus, if it comes back negative, regardless of what the real reason, you'll be second guessing if it's because you saved it or not.

I did this with an OPK for about 3 hours after work. I didnt have an tests so I PIAC and let it just sit there. I got a positive that night. But again it was an OPK.

Yeah I probably should either wait for the weekend or "hold it" for an evening test.  I would definitely 2nd guess it if it was negative, so it's probably not worth trying.  I just wish the weekend wasn't soooo far away.  I don't think I will wait til Saturday if my temps are staying up, so I'm just going to have to be a big girl & hold it as long as possible.

I got my BFP not on FMU and I'm not even sure it was a full four hours.  I have a huge bladder or at least I did...so 4 hours wasn't too hard for me to wait.  I tested about 5 pm at night and got a BFP!  I then tested again in the morning to make sure it was still BFP.

 Good luck...I don't believe in only FMU!  Usually I had to pee too bad to pee in a cup and get the test ready....I say go for it!

I would have tested already.  I got my BFP at 11 dpo.  My Luteal phase was always around 14 days though....Go test!

I did test @ 12dpo but BFN, maybe too early for me or maybe this just isn't our cycle.  Time will tell I guess.  I think I'm going to test tomorrow if my temp is still up

The hospital lab does this all the time.  I'm sure it doesn't cause any errors or they wouldn't be allowed to do it.
