Red, hot rash on my face, anyone else had this?

I woke up this morning with a red, hot rash on my face/cheek about 2-3 inches across in length. About 3 hours later it's still there and it's red enough for people to notice.

Anyone had this or have any idea what it could be?

    Call your doctor - probably your PCP.  If it is hot, it may be an infection.  I have no clue, but it doesn't sound good.  If it were just red, I would probably say it is pregnancy since that is what happened to me last time (and never went away).  But I never had heat.

    i had this last week...my cheeks always get red and hot when the rest of me is cold..even before I was pregnant...it happened last thursday and then friday I guess there was still a rash one of my clients pointed it out....it went away though...call your dr if your really worried
