It's usually pronounced Sha-vaan. I had a friend whose friend had this name. For a couple of years I saw it on facebook and I was so confused because it was the girl that I knew as Sha-vaan, but it was some weird name. It wasn't until I met someone else in an online course with this name, and she wrote the pronounciation next to it that I made the connection between the spelling and pronunciation.

Siobhan is my favorite name that I'll never use.  I'm not a huge fan of Molly, though.

I love Siobhan as a middle name, because it saves most of the trouble that having that name can cause (pronunciation and spelling issues) but still has it as a part of her name. Instead of Molly, I like Millie.

Molly is super cute. I've never heard of Siobhan before. I know a Chavonne. I prefer that spelling because it's obvious how to pronounce.

I love the name Molly. Nobody will know how to pronounce Siobhan but it's a mn, so that doesn't matter.
