Why do they SHOUT?

Seriously, why does every question or request have to be SHOUTED? I must've asked for a quieter voice 50 times in 1hr. She nods her head that she understands & 2 seconds later is at full volume again!

    If anyone has figured out a way to make their LO quite down, I would love to hear it!

    I asked M about why she's always so loud a while back. I remember the conversation well....

    Me: M, can you use your inside voice?

    M: NO MAMA I CAN'T.?

    Me: M, why can't you?

    M: BECAUSE I LIKE TOO?SCREEEEEEAM (runs away laughing)

    ha! I was just thinking about this today, as it's something DS is just starting to do. He gets so excited when he's talking, that it's like he doesn't know how to control the volume at the same time.?
